Study of MU

Here is my preliminary study of MU

  • Micron, Intel Lead Higher Equipment Spend in ’18, Says Jefferies: One big driver for chips in ’18 could be the Internet of Things, observes Nakanomyo, and here the focus is a bit on something new called “minimal fabs,” factories that can do small-volume runs of chips.
  • Micron: The Best of Times, Says Rosenblatt: Rosenblatt Securities, who reiterates a Buy rating on the stock, and a $75 price target, writing that the “the current memory industry” is “the best in semiconductor history,” marked by duration that’s longer than ever, and by the very “nature” of the business, which is increasingly “content-driven,” and a structure that is “oligopolistic.” Micron stock today closed up $1.31, or 3%, at $43.71
